I know that finding a photographer can be a scary process, between finding someone within your budget, to someone that fits with the needs for your session. I try to make it as stress free as possible from start to finish. Here are my most frequently asked questions I receive from potential clients such as yourself. Hopefully these will ease any concerns you have, and if you still have a question after scrolling through please reach out, I would love to help in any way I can!
How do I book a session?
Easy! Submit your information via the Contact page and I will be in touch within 48 hours. Bookings are completed via email ONLY so please use the provided form HERE.
How much is the retainer to book a date for a portrait session?
To book a session there is a non-refundable retainer fee 1/3 of your package price is due at the time of booking, this secures your photo session date on the calendar. The remainder of your session fee is due within 1 week of your scheduled photo session.
What are my payments options? Do you have payment plans?
The answer is YES!! I know these sessions can be a big investment. Cash and all major Debit/Credit Cards are accepted. I require a non-refundable retainer to book and hold any date on the calendar, I’m happy to divide the remaining balance into monthly payments or paid on the day of the session. However, the final payment must be paid in full by the day of the session. No downloadable files or other products will be delivered until final payment has been received in full.
How soon after my shoot will I see my images?
All sessions include digital images delivered via an online gallery. Approximately 3 weeks after your session you will receive an email with a link to an online gallery. With this link you will be able to download them to any device, share with family and friends, along with ordering prints if you didn't order at the time of booking.
Turnaround times may vary during peek season, photos can take roughly 3-4 weeks. Your images are color corrected and hand retouched with the most care. No generic smoothing filters here, your images are worked to maintain as much natural texture as possible.
When can we book a portrait session?
Sessions can be booked both during the week and on weekends. During the summer June -September most Saturdays are reserved for weddings. Summers are great for those whose availability doesn’t line up – sunsets can be as late as 8pm or even later and our weather tends to cooperate more, although rain sessions can be a lot of fun! Throughout the year I try to host a variety of mini session events on a weekend for those who are able to make a weekday work.
Can I print my images?
Of course! All your selected and purchased images include printing rights. With your online gallery, you will have the option to order prints (albums, wall art, canvas, etc.) from a professional printing lab. Any session/retainer fees do not include prints or products. You can also create a custom package which can include your session and products! I also have print packages and products available in bundles or a-la-carte options. We can go over what sizes/types you are needing for your home, and I am able to custom build a package for you that suites your family’s needs!
What if I want to keep my images private?
You got it! Every person you see on the website has signed a model release that allows us to share images from their session, they loved them that much! The only images shown are ones that have full sharing permissions from the client. I would NEVER share your images without a signed industry standard model release.
Travel options are available?
I am based near the Tacoma/Puyallup area and the surrounding cities – with the availability to travel! Anything outside of this general area is subject to a travel fee.

Are you insured?
Yes. I carry liability insurance, which allows me to work at any location or venue. I have a business license and equipment insurance, too.
